Devan M. Vilfrard

CEO, & Co-Founder

Devan M. Vilfrard is an award winning organizer & advocate from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Devan attended Florida A&M University to pursue a bachelors degree of Political Science with a Minor in Pre-Law. Devan is also a six year veteran of the United States Army and a life member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Prior serving The Cash In Grad Out Foundation, Inc., Devan served as the Chief Justice of the Florida A&M University Student Government Association and has interned at Ben Crump Law, PLLC.

Jamie Turner

Co-Founder & Head of Communications

Jamie Turner's work encompasses the desire and will to change the material conditions of Black communities in multiple endeavors. Whether it be fighting for student debt cancellation, helping businesses and nonprofits create captivating and impactful digital content, and telling the story of the Black experience and her heritage through her poetry. As a graduate of Norfolk State University, Ms. Turner is a renaissance woman dedicated to Black liberation.

Robyn Hughes

Co-Founder & Board Chair

Robyn Hughes, a senior majoring in political science hailing from the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a dedicated scholar with a passion for understanding the dynamics of political systems. With a keen interest in policy analysis and civic engagement, Robyn has actively contributed to campus discussions on political issues and participated in community outreach programs. A commitment to excellence has marked her academic journey, and she has emerged as a respected voice in the political science department. As she embarks on the threshold of graduation, her goal is to leverage her knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in the realm of politics and public service. Beyond academics, Robyn is known for her involvement in local community initiatives, reflecting a commitment to bridging the gap between theory and real-world impact with meaningful change.

Damarius Davis

Co-Founder & Treasurer

Damarius Davis is a community leader who uplifts communities through advocacy and research. Damarius began his passion for serving his community at his local church in his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2022, Damarius graduated from the #1 Public Historically Black College and University in the State: North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he studied Sociology with a minor in History. His time at North Carolina A&T helped him develop and find his true voice as he joined many organizations and served on many executive committees. In the future, Damarius plans to excel in research with a Master’s Degree in Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology or Community Health and Health Behavior. He plans to use his experience qualitative and quantitative research methods to present new findings to communities.
